Hi all. I am an electrcian that has always admired a decent lighting setup. After many years of research and recently speaking to other light enthusiasts i decided to get on board and have some fun.
I have downloaded Vixen 3 and got my head around some of its features. Now i am after a Falcon v3 controller and some led strings to bring the show to life. Maybe a decent display for Xmas 2018.

Great useful web page with plenty of info for newbs.

advatek lights make a very good controller Pixlite 16 mkII,
also am in SA country (YP), so if need help pm me

Welcome to ACL! Quite a few members representing SA of late, so plenty of local advice available when needed.
Keep an eye on next year's "mini" - a meet up for all of us crazy blinky enthusiasts in most states - it's became quite an event and is a great way to swap ideas and advice, and see some other's creations.

I will have a look at the advatek, thanks for the tip. A fellow light enthusiast put me onto the Falcons but they seem to be hard to come by, i really need something that is more available so i have plenty of time (which i will need) for xmas 2018.
