I’m having a ridiculously hard time with my system saving my added long range receiver configurations . I have entered it 5 different times . I have a mem disk in and when I try to retrieve it after resetting the design name is not a choice . Most current hinks , xlights etc . 2 days ago I was able to save 2 tests , but anything since is unsaved , xlights or hinks config had a system error that never resolved , I just rebooted . I operate on a Mac and I am using safari . Any help would be appreciated

You are using a HinksPix PRO I take it, but which long range receivers (smart or dumb)? Are you trying to set up using the controller web page (the hard way) or just upload the configuration from xLights (much easier!) ?

If you do it that way (and be sure to check the box that says "universe per string"), the controllers, receivers, etc., just work.

Joe Hinkle had grand plans with a controller-centric worldview, but if you are using xLights it is much easier to just ignore all that. It's a fine controller hardware-wise, but easier to use if you just skip the web interface and use it for debugging only.
