New to the group. My husband and I have both been putting up Christmas lights for the past six years. We are now ready to take our lights to the next level. But not sure where to start. Hopefully being on here will help us to do this.

A great place to start is the 101 manual!

Importantly; study, study, plan and repeat. Make sure you know what you're wanting before you spend money!
I would diffidently look around before buying kits, much cheaper and more suited when custom made. And it's part of the fun making your own!
