I have been having great difficulty in identifying a particular attribute of LED strips I am trying to order.
In the past I have used both silicone filled / silicone tubed strips (s/s) and what I believe to be silicone filled / epoxy tubed strips (s/e).
s/s: These are my preferred strips as they appear to be the most durable. They are more flexible than the s/e combo as well. They are not perfectly clear though and have a cloudy opaqueness that diffuses the light a bit.
s/e: Very clear coating and fairly tough compared to non filled tube or epoxy bubble coating. Can kink, scrape or cut in situations the s/s will stand up to.
I can take some pictures of the two later if people want them.
Both types are completely waterproof and can be submersed.
If anyone can help me in finding the s/s strips to order I'd be very grateful.
**edit** I just realised I wasn't that particular about a strip.
The ones I'm after are dumb RGB strips 60 LED p/m in 5m rolls with the s/s coating I described above. Cheers.
