I just purchased a new show computer which uses Windows 11. The former Windows 10 has been running flawlessly for over 10 years with no network issues. It is probably a windows setting but I cannot seem to get the controllers to show up on the computer.

I use 10.10.10.XX for the controller IP and have tried what I know. Mind you 10+ years ago when I bought my j1sys there was probably a tutorial for network challenged people like me....

ok, need more explaniation ? is your current PC on the 10.10.10.x subnet ?
else you may need to add a secondary ip to your ethernet conneciton to allow windows to access the 10.10.10.x subnet

Windows 11 hides advanced settings behind a dozen clicks to get back to the "older" user interface of doing things. The dumbed down settings panel makes things like setting static addresses incredibly difficult.
Given the variation in networks, configurations, etc, going through your particular setup over a forum is quite difficult, so it's probably a good opportunity to drop into the zoom room. That way you'll can get an explanation of what is being done and take it from there.

Not to be mean, but you really need to provide more information when asking for help. Just supplying a class A ip range isn't enough. I'll agree with Skymaster that it tends to be a visual OS and going into the Zoom room and screen sharing is much quicker tog et networking help.

Have you compared your old settings to your new ones? Open powershell and run: ipconfig /all on both and compare the settings, which is always a good place to start.

How are you trying to find your controllers?
