Ok, I’ve finally convinced my hubby to change to a light show next year and ditch ALLLL of other ridiculous lights/inflatables…

Problem… no idea what I’m doing! I know a little bit about a little bit!

First problem I’m finding is, where do I actually buy the lights from

Most people purchase there pixels from overseas.
The main sellers of LED’s are:
Paul from ETOP
Ray Wu
Yvette LED.

You can find Paul and Ray Wu on AliExpress or message them directly.

It is best to build your light show in x lights then do your layout and figure out what you need. Extensions, power injections ect. You can also order custom lengths which can save heaps of time and they don’t really cost much more.

At this time of year, I suggest checking the AusChristmasLighting Display locations map. You might be able to find a display nearby that's still up and running. You might even be able to get a tour of the setup. Keep an eye out for minis (meet and greet events with presentations) typically around May or June.

I wouldn't rush into buying the lights but nor would I leave it too late. I've always been happy with my pixel lights from Ray Wu but you'll need to get the controller(s) from somewhere else e.g. Falcon or Hanson Electronics. I suggest posting your planned shopping list on the forum for feedback.
