Hi All,
Been doing the lights for a few years now, only small in comparison to most, but am making the leap into the controlled side of it now. Have bought 2 x Helix Network Controllers and 6 32ch SSR daughter boards and am in the progress of looking into the pixel side of them as well.
Look forward to chatting and getting some great advise from a great group.
Not sure if you guys run many group buys, but would be interested if you do.

Not familiar with those controllers but someone else here may be.

You may find a slow response to your questions etc. for a few weeks as many take a break right after the end of the season. But rest assured the great, helpful and friendly people on this site will assist you on your trip into blinky madness.

Be warned however Joining these forums and entering the chat room can give you CLAP!!! :D

Welcome to ACL, you should find all the info you need here to get yourself into the hobby. ACL focus is not as much of DIY comapared to that of DIYC so you will find that there are not a great deal of groupbuys for boards. And for lights its cheaper to bring your own in as for us here (Australia) anything over $1000 will incure 10% GST so this makes group buys on lights not worth the trouble.
