I've just set up my first Christmas display and am already planning my first PLC display next year, the static lights just aren't doing it for me.

Can anyone recommend anyone in OZ to purchase a PLC and software through?

Welcome to ACL, you will find all you need to get up and running. But you dont need a PLC as they are the old way and dont allow for dimming unless you have an analog output which can be expensive with thye PLC route. The hobby has now miagrated to the point where we now have dedicated controllers to do the job which are far cheaper than using a PLC and also offer better lighting control.

You may want to take a read of the ACL 101 lighting manual as that will show you some of the available control choices and software.
