Hi peoples,

An old school mate of mine put me onto this awesome site, over the years I have admired many houses and this year I have decided that we are going to start working on our place.

I enjoy playing with electronics have built a number of CNC routers over the years have a 1.2 x 1.2 DIy CNC plasma cutter and I also have a 600x900 laster cutter as well table saw mig/tig the list is long on the toy front, but now need projects for my son and me to work on :)

Looking forward to getting started.

Hi Wily and welcome.

No shortage of project ideas and support here. As I was well advised when I first joined, study the AusChristmasLighting101 manual from front to back and then top to bottom and then repeat again - then the questions will start !!

Welcome to ACL.. Would love to get a CNC... Very lucky. Anyway you've come to the right spot for lights.. Plenty of great info and people to help..

Sounds like you could make a few friends having access to gear like that!! Hopefully you can make it to your local mini and get to see what they hobby is all about up close, and share ideas and tips from the knowledge base in the room.
