Hi all,


It has been a long time since I used a forum;)


I love Christmas lights however have never done anything outside the normal plug them in and watch them glow..


My main goal this year is to build a working Santa face that sings. I have been looking at a few products and looks like I am going to try the light-O-Rama starter kit.


I am a bit nervous about it all, but would love to pull this off.


Looking forward to being an active noob member of your community.

Where abouts are you in Queensland? I'm at Sinnamon Park, Brisbane and am also planning singing faces (but for next year). If you are nearby, I'd be happy to chat & show my experiences with LOR.

Lots of very friendly folks will be glad to ease your nervousness. Ask lots of questions before you purchase anything, it will save you lots of headaches. :)
If you haven't found it yet, the AusChristmasLighting 101 manual is a great resource.
Also if you haven't found it, a good tool for singing faces is Papagayo to LOR
