Hi from Deni NSW, Im a sparky by trade and I have been promising my kids for years that I would do a Christmas
light display for them and if I don't get onto it they will be all grown up. I live in a cul-de-sac so there is limited space to work with. With 4 kids the xmas lighting budget is pretty tight but with a bit of building, modifying and imagination i'm hoping that I can come up with a display a little different to the static displays on show here. I've been using Vixen 3 to control 2 Arduino Mega's but i'm thinking I will have to upgrade 1 to a Teensy to drive my WS2811 Strings. After looking at the ACL site I think there is far more that I don't know about lighting displays so hopefully I may be able to help people with some electrical problems and they can help me with setup problems.
Cheers, Ian

Welcome to ACL, you already have a great head start on most as being an electrician does help a lot. Feel free to ask any questions and im sure you will get the answers you need.

Wadey, Welcome. I am too in the Riverina area. Mate, you have a wealth of knowledge on this forum and I have found that its the best forum to have your questions answered... No one will treat your questions as dumb or stupid. There is a heap of great videos on Youtube under this forum name. Welcome and enjoy. If you post a photo of your work or idea, you will get great feedback. Again welcome to the forums.
