Homemade Snow Fluid

i was going to post the ebay links for the snow machines, but there prices have just jumped from $100 to $200-$400 for the same thing..
must be a christmas thing to make money or something

I'll post my final mix here so I don't lose it myself.

as I ended up going thru 9-12 liters a night. I ended up bumping up the brew mix a fair bit, I found the kids really enjoyed being covered in snow instead of it just flaking thru the air.

I mixed mine up as 2lt batches and then tipped it into 5lt tanks

1900ml Water
55ml Isocol rubbing Alcohol
40ml Spacetime Bubble Bath (Woolworths)

No it hung aroung for 20mins, depended on how many children were wrestling in it.

thanks for the info guys as i will be adding a snow machine to the display next year

ohh, dont just add one though, you want max coverage. I will be buying another next year, possibly two.

I was just wondering if anybody runs a type of cleaner through their snow machines before they pack them up?

Anyone have a picture of what this looks like after its produced? ie the snow?

That's Sad you kicked your Daughter out so you could have all the fun

Thanks for the pics and video. Look very effective.

I'm just trying to work out where I can put it in my display. Ow far from the machine does the snow fly (assuming its nit windy)?

I had 1 perfect night that both machines had a gentle tail wid and it shot out 3 meters.
about 2 m was normal, sometimes the wind shot it up i the air and over the roofm other times the neibours car got a soaping.
I really enjoyed having my 2 machines here they were placed over a window with Virtual Santa in it.
I chose to go with just the 600w ones from Jaycar as they have a RF remote that drove both of them at the same time.
