Howdy Y'all,
I am new to controlled/synchronized light displays, but I am excited about diving into it. I am sure that I will be asking a lot of "newbie" questions. Looking forward to meeting you, and learning from everyone, and seeing the beautiful displays that you have.

Right there with you brother. I may only be about 2 weeks ahead. I just got my controller this week. My recommendation as a complete newbie as well is to play around with xlights because you don't need anything to learn it a bit.
