It's just been brought to my attention that if you attempt to order 1 of the ready to run Baldrick controllers (which are mostly out of stock) you will get turned into a teapot. You won't actually get turned into a teapot but you'll get an error 418 "HTTP 418 I'm a teapot " message. Upon doing some digging with the aid of Google AI it seems the culprit is VentraIP doing PHP security updates and those updates blocking the product variation upload text to my site. That produces an error and that error is translated to the April Fools easter egg code in the HTTP code. I've put in a support ticket at VentraIP so hopefully people will be able to order the Baldrick 8 V2 ready to run soon. If they can't, just email or use the contact form and I can process an order manually. In the meantime just boil the kettle and pour yourself a cuppa and enjoy the April Fools' joke in the 1998 Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol (HTCPCP).
This error could also be affecting other sites that you may use. If you get the "HTTP 418 I'm a teapot " message there's likely nothing the webpage owner can do about it until their web host gets the PHP updates done.
I added some IP rated, pixel illuminated pushbuttons to the site a few days ago. They're perfect for adding interactive features to your display. The pixel inside them is 5V rated so if you are using 12V pixels you'll need to cater for these being 5V.

Things are pretty busy and keep getting busier as lighting season approaches. I'm currently all out of Baldrick 8s until next week and Baldrick 17s until sometime after that. A few new things on the site including pixel illuminated IP rated switches ideal for interactive elements in displays.
In my spare time of which there isn't any I'm doing my 10th year of the Great Cycle Challenge. It's been a challenge this year as I hadn't been riding all year, chose a distance I haven't ridden in a month this decade, the weather has been rubbish and work has been busy.
