I was sent the above link by my wife about a new building in Geelong. For this forum the most interesting part is near the end of the article about the lighting. To find the para or two about it, search for "We are installing Organic Response in the building" within the web page. Basically each light adjusts to how bright the room is. So if bright sunshine is coming in through the window the lights turn themselves off individually. The article does not go into details, however I assume from a control point of view you set how bright (lumens) you want the area to be and each individual light brightens the required amount if it's darker than the set brightness.
I have seen lots of shops with tall glass entry halls, with the lights on in the middle of the day. Or external lights on in the middle of the day and think what a waste of power. It's good to see auto-adjusting lighting.
For us we need a light sensor on the Falcon Player which starts the show at dusk, or can dim the lights as it gets darker. (Raining outside, dark clouds and light show starts in the middle of the day
