Internet usage and enabled schedules

When I enable schedule I can't get on the internet, but if I use show on demand and start my show manually I can use the internet whilst the show is on. I have not tried enabling the schedule and see if I can use the internet once the show has started but I know for sure I can't get on the net whilst the scheduler is enabled and waiting for the show to start.

I have my lights on a separate network card to the net and I use unicast to send the data to my one controller.

Is this normal with enabled schedules and is there a way around it.

Just realised what the issue is. I have the issue when the schedule is enabled and the controller hasn't been powered up yet. I guess it continues searching or something until it finds it and until then all networks are bogged down.

Is there a way around it? Does putting a switch in fix the problem by making it think there is a network?
