I’m looking to permanently install some strips around my patio and deck but I’m concerned the silicone coating on the IP65 strips will prematurely separate from the strip.

Does anyone have experience with using IP65 strips in a high humidity, cold in the winter hot in the summer environment, and/or using adhesive tape on an IP68 strip?
Would the epoxy coated strips last longer? From what I’ve read the epoxy strips crack and discolor.
