Is this RGB what I think it is?

    I just looked at thr link and think it is a typo causing you to mis-read the listing


    DC12V, WS2801IC signel color modules.


    What I think is meant is WS2801IC signal ... not single and that each module is a single color, as in not able to control each LED in the module.

    If in doubt just message Ray and he will clarify as best he can :)

    For the cost there are cheaper options like the 2811 modules for $14 a string which is $3.50 a string cheaper than what you linked to and have the same 256 steps dimming per colour as the 2801 chip.

    But what you find with many Chinese vendors is some of the additional descriptions are copy and paste and are not 100% correct. The item description in the title is what is correct
