Could anyone please help me find a J-bolt for my mega tree topper? Looking for a shop or online supplier in Melbourne South East, other than Bunnings. Thanks

Most nut and bolt shops will have them but for the amount you will need it could be just as easy to get them from Bunnings this nut and bolt shop has them in a few sizes.

I know it isn't what you asked, but why not the chintzy carabiners? (https://mattosdesigns.com/products/sasquatch-topper-carabiner) or cheap S-biner knockoffs (https://www.amazon.com/Interlocking-Keychain-Attachment-Camping-Fishing/dp/B09JG34Z5K) or whatever ali express has to offer? They don't take as long to put in / take out, they don't twist by accident, and the strips don't fall off.

Not sure if you have the time, but I ordered my stainless steel hooks and nuts from Temu. Surpised me with the quality, as they were cheap and have not rusted in two years. Cheers

You might have some luck with roofing or outdoor-structure suppliers around the southeast suburbs,as J-bolts like that are pretty common hardware even if Bunnings doesn’t have the exact size. I’d take the topper in or measure the thread diameter and length first,then a local bolt and fastener shop should be able to match it pretty easily.
