Kitmans 1 day build: Bethlehem star tree topper

Well I got inspired by the PVC star and decided to make my own Bethlehem star for the top of my tree (didn't get one made for last year) so I took to it today and made this star.

It is 900mm wide and 1350mm high, tried to add a little 3D effect to it to give a bit of depth, I guess I will see how it looks once I wrap it with some lights.

Also going to program it so it doubles as a spinner in the middle.

Looks good! What material is it made from? 1.3m tall, how high is your megatree as a comparison?

made it from 5mm steel rod. My neighbour got me a roll of 5mm steel rod for free but it's a pain to straighten out, which is good cause it means it doesn't bend easy but to make straight bits is tricky.

My tree stands about 3.5 meters I think lol can't remember but I know I used 2 boscoyo strips joined together for each strip on the tree.
