Knock knock, it's September! What are you making and are you ready for Christmas 2026?

Zero motivation to buy or build anything new this year, so it will likely be copy/paste of the previous year (which was also a copy/paste of the year prior)

I am in a very similar boat. I don't think there will be any changes, unless if I end up finishing the solar panel matrixes I started rebuilding last year.
Maybe I'll take down the 3 singing bulbs that are still on the roof :)

im making 180 degree poles using the SFL 8 inch topper for top and bottom - using string lights with 32 strands x 8 poles
and ive added extra mini trees and 5 stars to make it look like a shooting star above my 180 degree poles

Bit skint this Christmas prop making season so I've just ordered some amazon special pixels (1000 for $175), can't be any worse than 2022 right? xD . I've rebuilt an old Surfing Santa rope prop using seed pixels for $80, and using a Hanson piHat for control via Xlights. I'm doing a nightclass welding course at TAFE and made some waves for under the surfboard and chopped the whole thing into two sections to make storage easier. It came out quite well. It was my sons favorite at a neighbours house so hope he loves it.
Also using my Brisbane mini seed pixels that I won in the raffle to create the wire frame train that I grabbed off Bazmick. thanks mate!
I created PETG clips for both and printed and used them to hold the seed pixel wire flat on the frame so get the correct orientation of the pixel. Will post up progress on them and how I did it later if anyone is interested. I used Booy's Aussiepixelstore to create the xmodels for those.
Also created 3 EFL Penguins, which are so cute, and using the skills I learnt from the Brisbane mini to use states for the singing props. :)
Making progress. I still get funning comments from people that I'm working on my lights in August! o_O
@Dreamin if the amazon pixels are good and work well let me know and send the link as i need some cheap ones so might order some myself

Ordered 31st Aug and they just cleared customs in Brisbane. 500 for $99 + got a discount for buying two lots and free postage. My inner Scotsman was overjoyed.
I’m sure they will work ok but long term not sure, but at least I can get what I want done this year.
