I'm planning on doing 25 - 40 leaping arches this year. About 20 of them will be ground based and at this stage they will be leaping over my 700mm tall mini trees. . The another 10 - 15 of them will be across the fascia of my house either fixed to the fascia or the gutter. As something of a tight**** when it comes to money and especially time I thought of using some of the coils of fencing wire that I have here. My major concern is that it isn't going to be anywhere near rigid enough to work with. Any suggestions on some nice cheap alternatives to my fencing wire that I have about 1km of lying around on a coil. My 1st thought is to roll up some 6mm rod to the required 700mm radius.

Plain old electrical conduit. its $4 for 4m of it.

Then the extra left over bits are joinable so you get more for your $$$.

Stick em in the ground over some 6mm rod about 450mm long, hammer that in so about 150mm is sticking up and walah. Simple arches. You could probably go shorter on rod length if you want, thats based on mine being 1.5m wide with 400 LEDs on them
