Hello all,

As i am putting up my "Dumb" LED strips I notice that I have some modules that are missing one color.

And tips? I was looking for the easiest way to do it. Or do I just say screw it and leave it with the bad modules?

Thanks!
Scott

Being dumb pixels this could be either a bad solder joint which can be found if you just press and bend slightly around the LED section, or it could be due to low quality LEDs that are failing, typically it will be the red colour that has failed.
Many of the cheap LEDs bought from China are not burrnt in tested and so you may find additional failures within the first 48 hours of use.

If its in a tube and not a solid coating then all thats needed is to cut the tube open and use a hot air gun to reflow the solder joints.
You can also cut out the section and resolder together

Then just use some clear silicone and clear heat shrink to reseal.
