I apologize if this question is answered elsewhere in the forum. When living in the US we bought a Light-o-Rama CTB16PC Controller. When we returned to Australia, we brought the controller, thinking we might be able to adapt it. I know absolutely nothing about electricity and whether it's even possible to use the controller here.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

That will be wired for 110V AC and I'm guessing will have USA 110V pigtails (2 prong outlet plugs). If you have brought a heap of 110V AC lights back as well, then you could perhaps buy a 240V AC to 110V AC step down transformer ( like this one ) and run the LOR box and lights off it.

It's more effort than it's worth to convert to 240V AC, especially given there's virtually no 240V AC lights in Australia.

Without knowing the exact version of the CTB16PC I can't say for certain exactly what changes are needed to change a 120V board to 240V.
Have a look for the exact model on http://www1.lightorama.com/documentation/
Looking at http://www1.lightorama.com/PDF/CTB-16K_Assembly_Manual.pdf it looks like there's 16 resistors requiring to be changed as a minimum as well the 240V/110V jumper. I vaguely recalled from when I built my own that there may have been differences in the triac opto-isolators.
