Looking for DMX terminator

Does anyone know where I can buy a DMX terminator to fit this plug. I’ve purchased two now from different suppliers and they don’t fit. You can see from the picture that the pins on the terminator are slightly different shape then the DMX out.

Do you mean just to waterproof it? If not I wouldn’t bother there hardly ever required

I’m after a terminator. I think I’m getting weird signal issues and want to see if it fixes it. Im also chasing waterproof end caps for the DMX and power if you can point me in the right direction?

a dmx terminator is a 120ohm resistor between the 2 data pins. normaly pins 2 & 3 on xlr connectors

The DMX out on my MH looks to be a different shape to the DMX terminators though?

if you have a plug that fits spaire, connect a 120ohn resistor.
you cant blow anything up as there is only gnd and 2 data pins,

What is that female plug from? Usually if you need to terminate you do so on the output of the last DMX fixture itself, unsure why you'd need a cable coming off of it if you just need to terminate it? My terminator plug is literally just a XLR plug bun instead of a cable passing through the cable gland its an LED indicating that the data is there similar to what Alec posted above.

I’m actually not sure what type of plug it is, that’s what has thrown me off the most. They come pre attached

yeah sometimes that stuff has weird connectors. talk to your MH supplier.

Not the cheapest option, but you can purchase DMX and power extension leads for those moving heads, maybe you could hack one up and fit resistor etc.

Alternatively you could replace them all with 5 pin xlrs so that your on a standard connector.

I have thought about taking the panel off the back and opening it up but then I think If I screw it up it might cost a few $$
