IMO, there is no good way to answer that. Not sure exactly what look you are after, brighter or massive light bulbs.
So I will try this and hope it helps. :) ;)
In both the photo and video it appears incandescent "Fairy Lights" are being used. These do not emit a large amount of light.
However, RGB's emit a more intense/brighter light.

Using thousands of CCB's is not practical/normal on the residential side of things due to cost and programing.
Keep in mind, a 50 bulb string of smart RGB's requires 150 programing channels.

The live trees in the video you linked had 4 channels for each tree.
2 channels for the trunk (red stings, green strings) and 2 channels for the branches.

Thanks not brighter but more volume (fuller). Another way to ask is what is the typical spread distance between bulbs in a string of fairy lights? yes I working with all live trees

A typical spacing for led fairy lights is around 4" (100mm). To get the individual lights closer than this on your trees you will have to run the lines of lights up/around the tree more times. This of course means you will require a greater length of light string to cover the same area.
