I have 640 virtual channels on my mega tree which equates to 1920 RGB channels. Do I need to use both the outputs on my P2?

640 pixels will be able to be covered by 4 universes. Each output on the p2 can handle 4 universes. You can keep the other output for more pixels or you can use both outputs for your tree. Up to you. Just have to make sure you set your pixel counts correct for your p2 so it knows how many pixels are in each universe.
