making my lawn white (like snow)

I am starting to plan out for this christmas and I want to make it look like it has been snowing. I don't want to top dress with white sand because my lawn has been top dressed too many times already and kinda bulges, and I live in Perth so soil quality is already an issue that would only be made worse with white sand.

What painting options do I have (I am happy to reapply a couple of times). If I was to just get some regular old ceiling white paint, would it kill my lawn? I figure water based paint is out because it will run when I water my lawn.

apologies if not appropriate for this board.

You could try chalk powder which I think is used to mark lines on football fields.

I can still think of a few small disadvantages though;
it's messy
it might wash away
it's probably not good to breathe it in
it will raise the pH of the soil

I am not sure how well the colour of the lawn will show up at night.

I use quilt batting. Roll it out. roll it up. Bought a large roll at auction.

Dam looks like there is no options really...I don't want to reapply everyday, maybe once a week.

Might have to be white sand.
