Hello,
This isn't really a tree question but I think it is the best place to ask.
Planning for 2021 I want to add some pixel matrix(s) to my house this year. The areas I am looking place the matrices are odd shaped. I plan on doing 1" x 1" spacing.
The space dimensions that I am looking at are:
1. 16"x60"
2. 14"x130"
3. 10"x66"
4. 10"x86"
5. 9"x80"

Looking for thoughts on what is possible to display on odd shapes like this. Are images possible or is the odd shape a limiting factor?

Have you got a picture of how all the matrixes will be on your house?
The narrow widths/heights (9, 10, 14) will limit the quality of graphics, however if the matrixes are close together you can group them and get some good effects

Here are the locations that I am looking at putting Matrices and the corresponding dimensions and pixel count based on 1" spacing.

1. 16"x60" - 960/ea * 2 = 1920pixels
2. 14"x130" - 1820 pixels
3. 10"x66" - 660 pixels
4. 10"x86" - 860 pixels
5. 9"x80" - 720 pixels
6. 30"x130" - 3900 pixels
7. 40"x42" - 1680 pixels

Currently I have pixels on:
Garage Door Outlined
Garage Roof Outlined Vertical of the house outlined
Each window outlined
Roof and Roof peak outlined
Top and bottom post to the right of the front door outlined
Plus a lot of items in the yard going on.

Any input and suggestions are more than welcomed!

You might as well do the roof on the garage and the garage door if you want a whole house matrix. I would assume images and or video would look pretty good with what you have planned. @ShellNZ did something similar in 2019 (She took 2020 off) but not as compact. You can check out her videos in display gallery. You can get a pretty good idea of what it will look like in xLights.
