Matrix Strip ?

This may just be the best deal for strip if you are designing a matrix using strip .

I have now changed my thinking using 32 count /meter as these are 60 count with the ic inside the 5050 led.

What a realestate saver , this will allow a bit higher resolution .

The only short fall is that they are 4 meters opposed to the standard 5m.

I guess this must be due to the high current rating @ low +v

Its just strange that the LED still only has 6 pads like a normal 5050 LED and also appears to be the same size, so looking at the picture im actually doubtful that they are in the LED as you would have more pads for the LED for data in and data out.

But then i may be wrong, i would like to see a spec sheet on the LEDS used

Not a problem - if the chip is built into the LED package, it only needs 4 pads - same as any other 2811 pixel "package".

Power, ground, data in & data out. Power and ground duplicated for convenience maybe.
