Melbourne/Vic Melbourne Mini 2012: June 2-3

Looks like im another late starter as ive managed to wangle a day pass - at least till around 3pm
 
I'll be there. Interested to see the RGB lights stuff, to take my place to the next level.
 
Very nice to see so many new members coming along as well as old friends.

This is about 50 m down from Nicholson St on the RHS. Park in our carpark and enter via the warehouse if it is open (bbq breakfast will be there). If you come later we may be upstairs in our meeting room so just ring the bell on the front door or give me a call on my mobile 0404 891511 and we will let you in.

Streaming will be available today! uStream MelbourneMINI channel (same as last year to avoid confusion). Should start around 10am melbourne time.

Thanks very much to the Tuppets for hosting a great weekend. Thanks to everyone that presented topics and those that donated all the prizes. Madrix should keep me busy for a while.
It was great to meet everyone and put faces to names.
 
For those you weren't there, you missed a fantastic weekend! You must attend next year!

Great job Tess, it was once again a memorable mini, and was a great thing for everyone who attended. You have set the standard once again, so now we need to try to do the same in Sydney this year.


Congrats to the winners of the great prizes - an E16 and Pixels, Madrix, A certificate for a J1SYS controller, some 5V RGB LED's and 5 Tuppetstars.
 
I have to say that was the best Mini I've been to so far! :D

Seriously though, Congrats need to go out to Tess, a job well done and also to Bruce for the use of the venue.
To all the presenters as well you did a great job.
It was good to meet everyone too.

Appreciate the efforts of all who organised and presented. From a newbies perspective this was invaluable for getting my head around what i am in for during the next 5 months..
Now for the fun part!!
 
While the Mini was great, gee its nice to be home, even though I have to unpack now, but I might have a nap before then lol
