Mixed voltage switching

This might have been answered already though I am unable to locate it –
When using mixed voltage switching. Is there a problem connecting a switch mode power supply @24v to an AT power supply of which I am using for the 12v and 5 volt supply ( connecting the –ve together that is ) ? Cheers ! Graham R

After discussion with Graham in chat, he wanted to use multiple voltages on a single DC controller for different voltage lights. So I directed him to Example 2 in the wiki link

So a quick answer was yes, this is what you would do.
