Hi All, just wondering what people use to mount their candy canes and mini trees in their gardens?

I have the 48 pixel candy canes and 180 degree mini trees. I have seen a few people zip tie pvc pipe to the prop then slide it over a rectangular metal bar which they hammer into the ground.

I was thinking of attaching the pvc pipe to the props then using zip ties to attach to a metal stake like this one.

How do other people secure their props to the ground?

Ideas that come to mind are stakes (like in the Bunnings link), tent pegs and weights.

I used 5-6mm Aluminium tubing zip tied to the prop, and then a steal rod inserted into the ground. The prop was then slid over the rod.

thanks for the replies. So looks like most people are using stakes zip tied to the props. Are you all using the same concept for singing trees / bulbs etc? Just dont want it to blow away if there is strong wing.

I 3D print stand-offs for all my props easy to connect them to stakes without wires in the way
