They sell by the metre (from $0.25), 1.5mm to 20mm in 5 colours, and delivery charges don't look too bad.

They sell other useful stuff too, although the range is limited.

Dave www.futurlec.com.au overs great value. Their postage is also great .
But you need to allow a realistic time for delivery. Also sometimes they delay the delivery when something is out of stock. They aren't very proactive in keeping you imformed.
For all there faults futurlec remains my first place to purchase components.

Im wondering if anyone wants to get a 100m roll of 11mm clear heat shrink for $14.93. Basically the deal is for 1 or 2 rolls it is $51.43 but for more than 2 it is only $14.93 per roll. this stuff is perfect for using with strips.

So works out if using EMS shipping if you buy 11mm clear:


1 roll = $54 (china shipping)
2 Rolls = $148.05
3 Rolls = $108.39


so for 3 rolls that equates to $36.13 a roll, still a damn good price.


This would be most advantagous for people who would be going to the Sydney mini or the Brisbane mini as i could take it with me to them and save any extra shipping from me. I chose EMS so i would at least know i would have the heat shrink in time for the Brisbane mini and was only a couple dollars more.

Most Electrical whole sellers (Turks, TLE, Rexell, L&H) sell a variety of simple lengths in different colours, or Jaycar is always another good one, just picked me up another box of variety heatshrink for $20.00,

I just use aliexpress and buy bulk rolls - usually 50m or 100m depending on diameter. It just takes a while to arrive.

I got mine off ebay - only short (1m) lengths, but only cost aroun $1.50 to $2.00 per length, posted from Hong Kong
