which colour is best for net lights - red, warm white or white?

I have some 4 channel warm white net lights across my front hedge and really like them.

A couple of years back I saw one of those programmable nets in a nearby display and it looked good. When I saw it again this year some of the LEDs had failed.

Not sure if that can be computer controlled. If it supports numbers then it might make a good tune to sign.

I doubt that the LEDs are plug-in replaceable. You'd need to do some soldering and fiddling about I suspect.
