Just wanted o learn a little bit or a lot about RGB lighting and controllers. This was my first year to use LOR 16 channel residential controller. I just got another 16 channel controller as a Christmas gift bringing me to 32 channels. I have the fever and want to do more with my lights.

Welcome to the wonderful world of spending money! Er, I mean animated lighting. :D

You will want to study up on this stuff and learn all you can. I started out with LOR equipment and spent a fortune on it (I have 16 CTK-16 controllers plus other goodies) but am looking at other sources and types of controllers for not only my AC lights as I have a lot of LED strings but also to incorporate pixels into my display as well.

The Do It Yourself forum: http://doityourselfchristmas.com/forums/activity.php has a lot of good information on things from those who like to build it themselves.

The Falcon Christmas forum: http://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php has information more concerning pixels and their controllers along with some newer things like matrix panels and new pixel controllers.

The Xlights/Nutcracker software: http://nutcracker123.com/nutcracker/releases/ is a new sequencing and also somewhat ties in with the Falcon hardware for controlling pixels and is pretty sweet.

I used the LOR software for years and even tried out the LSP software but am in the process this year of changing over to Xlights/Nutcracker for doing all my display.

At any rate, welcome again and read and study things to see what you need to learn and do as it applies to your display and what you want to do in the future.
