new matrix for 2014

Well I have been busy building a new matrix for this year .
2016 pixels of pure fun .
Here is a preview in HLS

Here is a pic of the matrix I am constructing . I am almost done assembly .
this is 2/3 of the matrix . I created 6 panels 21 x 16 pixels to have managable and portability .

What's the frame made of richard? Is that some sort of mesh you have inserted the pixels into? Looks good and looks like it would be easy to store/move/use.

Here are the materials I used for this project so far and lots of zip ties
I framed with 3/4 x 3/4 angle metal
for the center 2 panels and the tops of the l & r lower panels
I had to use 1/2 x 1/2 angle to maintain spacing
I used the 1/2 x 1/2 on the sides of both center panels but only on the top of the bottom center panel .
