Newbie from Adeaide

Welcome to ACL. 9 months is plenty of time to get something up and going. Just like a project, my advice is plan (read), plan (read again), plan (ok put your plan on paper), then spend a little, build (a prototype/small segment), test (get it to work), test (know what it's doing), sequence, test, build the real thing, test, sequence, test, install, enjoy! You can never do too much reading/planning and testing. You've definitely come to the right place.

I can understand if you dont have any time to come past before its down, you would have more issues to worry about with the fires. Stay safe and if you need any help during the year feel free to contact me.

Well it looks like I'll have an extra year to plan this one. There is already talk of going interstate for Christmas, and I don't think a house sitter will want to deal with the lights every night haha.
