No lights on schedule without restart

Hi, hopefully someone can help me diagnose why my show starts with music and no lights. Pi 3B+ that runs full time due to no Ethernet for time. Baldrick 8 that powers up 5mins before show time. Show starts with music but no lights unless I restart the Pi. It then runs perfect. I have to go away for work so can't keep restarting every evening before the show starts. Does anyone have a possible solution?

It's possible that FPP is detecting that the Baldrick isn't there and turns off outputs to it as a result. That would show up potentially if you looked at the Baldrick when the show starts to see if it's showing streaming data arriving. How you get FPP to re-enable a missing output is beyond my pay grade. You may also see a message in FPP saying that it cannot reach the IP of the Baldrick.

If no one else has a suggestion, I think there is a restart scrip (fppd_restart) you could try after the baldrick is turned on and before the show starts. I am unsure how you do that once each day in a playlist (maybe a separate playlist that only runs 5 minutes before the show) but with a little Linux knowledge, you could add it to the system schedule if needed. I don't have FPP running right now so I can't check if it is feasible.

Thank you for the suggestions. There are no faults on the start of the play list and the Baldrick is receiving data. I will look into a restart script maybe 10 mins before show time. A little annoying as for a 1st year show everything else works perfect.
