Hi All,

I'm from Laura SA & hoping to get my display going this year. Sadly I currently feel like I've got "all the gear, but no idea" as I just can't get anything to work & I'd be glad if anyone could tell me what the heck I'm doing wrong.

I have FPP installed onto a Raspberry Pi 3B+ (with a Hanson Electronics LED RTC hat) and an F16v4 controller.

I am currently accessing both of these from my home network : wireless connection to RPi/FPP but the Falcon controller is wired directly to my router. I have no trouble connecting to the interfaces for either, but I cannot for the life of me get any joy out of getting my sequence onto FPP without a whole heap of errors. FPP doesn't seem to 'see' my controller either. I was planning to use DDP as the protocol, which I believe means I don't have to go about mapping channels/universes?

My plan was to eventually have the whole lot running completely independently (i.e. not connected to any network, just the Rpi/FPP connected directly to the Falcon controller by ethernet cable and running the show all by itself).

Anyway, right now I'm feeling totally confused & frustrated, so any help would be massively appreciated.

Cheers! :)

The Xlights zoom room is the perfect place to get help for something like this.
Letting Xlights do most of the configuration work is the key. The F16 would be configured as DDP and a static IP is needed. The Pi would be configured as FPP and FPP Player Only.
Assuming that you have a free port on your router I would initially get the setup going with a fully wired network.
