Normalizing Music tracks

I have a mix of MP3 and M4A tracks and I need to get the levels sorted last year was a pain with the M4A blasting the neighborhood, does anyone have a tip on what app or software is easiest to use.

You have to convert your M4A to mp3's for it to work
