Just shipped our latest VSF 104 model CNC 5 axis router to one of our customers in Melbourne. 6m x 6m x 1.2m, 40 m / min rapid on linear axes, 9 KW 20,000 RPM Spindle, vacuum table, vacuum fixtures, tool rack, vacuum swarf removal and part measuring :cool:

that's quite nice tuppets! Ours is a big longer, was the largest machining centre in australia a few years ago. Also has a laser head. Unfortunately it sits idle a lot of the time due to the mining downturn!

Ampcontrol. The hartford we have machines huge steel billets (mostly for electrical substations and transformers) hence the 16 tonne capacity.

I've seen one of those gantry routers making a foam blank for a yacht hull, it's pretty impressive! And extremely messy :D I used to have a 6x4 3 axis at home to do similar patterns when building composites, but had to sell it when we moved. The newer ones like yours are leaps and bound ahead though, makes the mastercam routers look quite primitive in comparison.
