Null pixels

Hello!

What is the difference between using pixels normally and just not sequencing them, and telling your actual controller that you have null pixels?

Other than the channel numbering being more easily understood, are there any pros or cons to either method?

a null pixel done by a controller (i beleve) usally dosent count agenst a universe limit, in software its one of your 170 pixels gone

By doing it in the controller, as you have noted, it doesn't affect your addressing of the 'real' pixels. It makes it easy to add or remove null pixels without having to change anything in your sequencing software.
