Hi, Just as a tack on topic from the Mini, the OpenLighting Project is at www.openlighting.org
There is an entire tutorial there on how to build an entire Pixel control with a raspberry PI, with a minimum of external parts on it. Also can use it to build Ethernet ---> DMX interfaces etc. etc.
Well worth looking at.
