Apart from adding a roof outline this year I got some friends to record voices for my talking props.
The tell some pretty poor Dad jokes and introduce a few songs.
To add to the effect I put speakers at each end of my display and used a few FPP Commands to mute the speakers depending on which end the audio is meant to be coming from.
Because the main audio gets muted as well during these intros etc, I ran it from a separate FPP player and run the FM radio from the master FPP so that the audio to the FM Radio gets the full audio.
Having two remote FPP's running audio has so far worked OK with just an occasional click as the audio gets fractionally out of sync, but we are talking one or two clicks every few minutes so no real issue.
One of the neighbours voiced the Grinch so he gets to listen to himself for a month, but in true Grinch style he was out gardening and 'accidentally' cut some of the Grinch's wiring......
