I have just been trying to control the strobe effect of a P2 using LOR S3.
What I have found is that the control universe will not work when LOR universe is configured in multicast (ok in unicast). The reason I believe is that the multicast filter is not configured as shown on the system info page of the P2.
If you configure a spare output on the P2 with the same universe as the strobe control universe then the multicast filter is created, and the strobes work when controlled in multicast.
One other thing I found, the string universe and control universe can not be the same, even if they are using different channels.
