P2 vs P12R string outputs :(

Yes I followed the 12v jumper and hooked the power up in the back of the P2 in k1, right? I should see a green light on the rj45 port on when I do this right?
12V supply into K1 with 12V out to pixels Open 1-2, 3-4 2-3 2-3

only do the 12V through the device for short strings. if doing long strings. feed the 12V into the device from the PIXEL plug or the 2pin plug in the back. but don't try to pass more than 1A through it to power your strings!!

no i was going to supply the power seperate from the p2 so do i remove the jumpers for the J terminals? I was just trying to get power to P2 so I can configure it and test leds on it

Doesnt seem to power the rj45 jack? I do think I see light coming from inside the board but shouldnt the light on the rj45 be on too even though there is no cable plugged in it?

The 2 lights indicate a valid network connection (Green?) and data (Yellow?), so with no network cable plugged in, there will be no lights on.
