P5 LED panels for outdoor scoreboard - Raspberry Pi compatible

Hi all, I'm building a portable outdoor scoreboard using a Raspberry Pi 4 and the rpi-rgb-led-matrix library. I need approximately 20-25 panels arranged 5 wide by 4 high.


Requirements:

  • P5 64x32 HUB75
  • 1/16 scan (must work with rpi-rgb-led-matrix out of the box)
  • Bright enough for direct Australian sunlight (3000+ nits)
  • Some weather resistance
Questions:
  1. Can anyone recommend a specific panel and supplier that meets these requirements and ships to Australia affordably?
  2. Is there a controller board better than the Adafruit HAT for driving 4 parallel chains?
