Pieces of strips???

I'm going to use 12-5m strips for my tree. However, I don't want a 16.5 foot tree. I don't want to go above 12 feet. Is it perceivable to use the remaining 4.5 feet to make arches? Such as 4-9 foot arches? Or is all the cutting and splicing asking for trouble?

Strips are essentially made for cutting splicing

If you look at your strips, they are spliced together. Like Shell said, they are made to splice. Have fun and good luck.

Thats how many of us use the strip, we cut it up to the dimensions we need and then fit on our own plugs.
