Pixel string length

Hello All,
Thinking about jumping into the pixel world and have a question. I am thinking of doing a pixel mega tree and was wondering what is the typical length of a ws2801 string? I know there are many different types but when I look on Ray's website it doesn't note spacing.

Ray's are usually 4 inches apart... But he will make them to any length you want. Delivery time sometimes takes abit longer depending on where in the queue you get..

Note that custom orders generally take about a week to 10 days to be made, depending on volume. I am currently awaiting 1250 custom spaced pixels here, and am on day 9, so hopefully it wont be long ???
